Queen Street is a steep cobbled street leading off from Manchester Road almost opposite Mossley Railway Station.
The entrances to the shop and heritage centre are from car park at the lower end of the building.
Mossley is about ten miles east of Manchester. Queen Street is off Manchester Road, which is the A635 from Manchester, Ashton and Stalybridge to Greenfield and Holmfirth.
Hourly trains from Manchester Victoria and Huddersfield stop at Mossley Railway Station across the road and there are frequent buses from Ashton under Lyne.
