Welcome to Emmaus Mossley
At Emmaus Mossley we offer a home and work to previously homeless and unemployed people.
The project finances itself by collecting and selling donated goods such as furniture, bric-a-brac, antiques, electrical appliances, clothing, books, toys, etc.
Our secondhand superstore is near Mossley Station, Tameside, Greater Manchester. We will collect donated items and deliver if required. We can also carry out house clearances.
Our workshop also offers training in the manufacture (from re-cycled wood) and renovation of furniture. These goods are either sold in our shop to generate income to sustain the project or are given to families in need for a nominal cost. These families are usually referred to us by agencies such as Social Services, the Probation Service or various housing projects.
